I’m from Mexico City, and I’ve been providing care to patients undergoing bariatric surgery since 2009 when I began to collaborate in the development and implementation of the government’s first bariatric surgery program. I did a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences at Universidad Iberoamericana with a specialization in Obesity and Comorbiditiesafter that, I completed a Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition with the best class score. In 2003, I won a scholarship for a Master’s Degree in Diabetes at the University of Warwick, England. Then, I carried out training in habit-changing techniques in the USA.

I enjoy supporting surgical patients in their physical and inner transformation. Both go hand in hand, as it's necessary to change the mindset and daily habits to obtain long-term results. I love laughing with my little son, teaching, traveling, tasting all kinds of food, practicing languages, and reading.
