BELEN LOPEZ, BS

Born in Mexico City and graduated from Universidad Autónoma de México (UNAM) with more than 12 years of experience in psychologyI worked for nine years for the federal government as I provided care for six years in clinics and private hospitals nationally recognized. I have provided more than 1000 clinical and bariatric psychotherapy sessions, besides lectures, classes, and group sessions, to help people feel full and satisfied with themselves while improving their relationship with food and their body.

I belong to the Mexican College of Surgery for Obesity and Metabolic Diseases, A.C. and I aim to keep myself in continuous training through diplomas, courses, workshops, and congresses that give me the best resources to provide specialized and quality care to my patients. Therefore, I’m about to obtain a Master’s Degree certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Conductual with a Specialty in Eating Disorders..

I’m optimistic, creative, and cheerful. I’m devoted to my job. I trust and believe that people can have a radical change in their lives; I’m fully committed to the care of the mental health and emotional stability of my patients, and I distinguish myself by providing welcoming and humane treatment.
